FNAF 2 (Five Nights at Freddy's 2) is a survival horror game that builds on the original with more animatronics and new mechanics. Set in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, you must survive night shifts against unpredictable threats.

FNAF 2 – SURVIVE THE NIGHT WITHOUT DOORS

In FNAF 2, gameplay centers on constant multitasking as you monitor cameras while watching both the hallway and air vents for incoming animatronics. When one enters your office, you must quickly wear the Freddy mask to stay safe, while also regularly winding the Music Box through the cameras and using your flashlight to hold back threats like Foxy. As nights progress, enemies become faster and more aggressive, pushing your reaction speed and focus to the limit.

Survival Actions

• Mouse: Look around and interact with objects
• Move cursor to screen edges: Switch between office and cameras
• Open Camera Monitor: Track animatronics across rooms
• Flashlight (Ctrl or click): Light up hallway and repel certain enemies
• Freddy Mask (button): Wear disguise to avoid detection
• Wind Music Box: Keep The Puppet inactive

WHAT’S NEW ELEMENTS

No Security Doors

• You can no longer block enemies directly
• Animatronics can enter through hallways and vents
• Survival now depends on reaction time instead of blocking

Freddy Fazbear Mask Mechanic

• You can wear a Freddy mask to trick most animatronics
• Timing is critical—put it on too late and it won’t work
• Not all enemies are fooled, adding more challenge

Music Box System (The Puppet)

• You must regularly wind a Music Box via the camera
• If it runs out, The Puppet attacks instantly
• Forces players to multitask and manage priorities

Flashlight Gameplay

• Used to check the hallway for incoming threats
• Required to push back certain animatronics (like Foxy)
• Limited effectiveness, so timing matters

More Animatronics & Smarter AI

• Introduces many new animatronics, including “Toy” versions
• Each has unique behavior patterns
• AI is more aggressive and less predictable

Vent System

• New air vents allow enemies to reach you faster
• You must constantly check both left and right vents
• Adds another layer of awareness and pressure
