In Sliding Wave, players control a constantly moving wave that slides through narrow passages, sharp spikes, and shifting barriers. The objective is simple: survive as long as possible without crashing. However, the gameplay quickly becomes more difficult as the tunnel speed increases and obstacle patterns grow more unpredictable.

The wave moves diagonally upward when players hold the control button and descends when released. Mastering this movement rhythm is essential for navigating tight spaces and avoiding collisions. Some sections also introduce rapid zigzag patterns that require extremely precise reactions.
