The Freak Circus

The Freak Circus is a dark, choice-driven horror visual novel that blends psychological tension, disturbing relationships, and branching storytelling inside a sinister travelling circus.

Created by indie developer Garula (Neko Bueno), the game places players in the role of an ordinary café worker whose life changes after encountering two terrifying circus performers: Pierrot and Harlequin. What begins as a strange meeting slowly turns into a dangerous psychological nightmare filled with obsession, manipulation, and survival-focused decisions.

The story centers around a mysterious traveling attraction known as the “Circus of Horrors". After meeting Pierrot, a silent and obsessive clown performer, the protagonist becomes trapped in a disturbing rivalry between him and Harlequin, a manipulative stage rival with equally dangerous intentions. As the story progresses, the circus reveals darker secrets hidden beneath its performances and twisted atmosphere.
