Bad Parenting follows Ron during what should have been a normal birthday night. After conflict erupts between his parents, he is sent back to his room with a strange story about a mysterious figure named Mr. Red Face, who supposedly rewards well-behaved children with gifts. As the night continues, the apartment becomes increasingly unsettling and the line between myth and reality begins to break down.

Gameplay focuses on exploration, observation, and story progression rather than combat. Players move through the house, interact with objects, uncover clues, and trigger events that reveal painful truths about Ron’s family life. The horror comes from atmosphere, symbolism, and psychological tension more than constant jump scares.
