In Roblox Doors, players begin inside a lobby where they can enter elevators alone or with up to four players before starting the horror adventure. After entering the hotel, the objective is simple but terrifying: survive and progress through 100 increasingly dangerous rooms. Players search for keys, open locked doors, collect useful items, and react quickly to deadly entities hiding within the darkness.

Each room introduces new threats and mechanics. Monsters like Rush, Seek, Figure, and Screech each behave differently, forcing players to adapt constantly. Some encounters require hiding inside closets, while others demand fast movement or puzzle-solving under pressure. Door 50 is especially infamous because of the intense Figure encounter and heartbeat minigame mechanic. The further players progress, the darker and more dangerous the hotel becomes.
